Covid-19 - Working together to keep safe

Customer and Employee Safety

The health and safety of you and our employees is of the utmost importance to us. Our highly skilled team have been given extensive training on the strict hygiene instructions issued by the government and the NHS in order to minimise the risk of spread. They have been issued with additional precautions within our specific work environment.

The nature of our service means we are able to carry out seasonal lawn and other treatments with little to no face-to-face contact with you in order to further minimise the risk of spreading the virus.

Before we visit you for your next treatment, we will be in touch. If you do not want us to come and treat your lawn, we absolutely understand. If you are happy for us to attend, our team will be taking the following steps to ensure your safety as well as their own:

•    We will either knock or ring the doorbell, step back to observe social distance, if no answer, we will get straight to work.
•    Please help the team comply with social distancing rules and ensure that we have access to the area to be treated and any gates are unlocked, open and passageways are clear for the team and their equipment.
•    If you wish to speak to the team face-to-face, they have been instructed to stand a minimum of 2 metres from you at all times (as per the government guidelines).
•    We would prefer you make payment for services by BACS transfer, the payments details are on our invoice, so you do not need direct contact with the technician for this.

While we are continuing to operate at this time, we will continue to take guidance from the NHS and government on any restrictions recommended.

New Treatment Process

Confirming our visit
We will continue to send our service emails prior to our visit. We will also give you a call before your planned treatment to ensure that you are happy for us to attend.

We are keen to ensure that you maintain the ability to raise questions or concerns about your lawn. You can do this by either emailing or telephoning before the visit. We will then assess any queries whilst we are there.

On our arrival
We will either knock or ring the doorbell, step back to observe social distance, if no answer, we will get straight to work.

Please help the team comply with social distancing rules and ensure that we have access to the area to be treated and any gates are unlocked, open and passageways are clear for the team and their equipment.

For all our protection and safety, if the gate is not open, or access is not clear we reserve the right not to complete the treatment.

On completing the treatment
Once we have finished your treatment, we will complete our records as normal and leave the invoice or treatment advice note through your letter box.

If we notice anything abnormal with your lawn or have any concerns, we will email or telephone them through after our visit, rather than discuss on the doorstep.

Questions and Answers

How soon can my children use the lawn after treatment?

We ask that you keep off the lawn until the products applied have dried (usually less than 2 hours). All of our feed products are completely safe. Any control substances, such as moss and weed controls, are safe once dry.

The only access to my lawn is through my house, how will this be managed?

We may not be able to carry out your treatment at present. Please contact us so we can discuss your situation.

Is it safe to handle your paper invoice?

Advice from Public Health England and the World Health Organisation is that “It is safe to handle letters and leaflets” and “the risk of coronavirus transmitting to people from surfaces like letters, leaflets and magazines is low”. We can email invoices if required, just let us know.

Can i still get a quotation?

We are able to offer you a quotation for lawn care services. Someone will visit your property, following all of the guidelines detailed on this page. We will ensure that we fully understand your requirements before we attend.

How can I pay you?

We would prefer payment by bank transfer, details are on the invoice or pay using cash or cheque left in a safe place, please advise where this will be before our visit.
