Lawn treatments
ProGrass Four is a program of four treatments that will cover the broad range of requirements and problems all lawns will contend with

Spring Treatment
Using a triple action formula, this granular treatment will provide the essential nutrient balance for steady growth without high clipping yields giving excellent grass colour and texture after a hard winter. This treatment will also include control moss and the emergence of many broad-leaved weeds.
Early Summer Treatment
A dual action approach is used with a granular balanced fertiliser that slowly releases its organic based nutrients that will strengthen, thicken and provide a good colour for the Summer. Any weeds that remain will be controlled with a selective herbicide spray.
Late Summer Treatment
After accessing the lawn this treatment will be give the lawn anything it needs to keep it in good shape until the all important Autumn treatment. We will be looking at colour, texture and root growth. The emphasis will also be on soil conditioning.
Late Autumn/Winter Treatment
This is your lawn’s most important treatment period. The grass must be supplied with all the nutrients required to strengthen it for the demands of winter and any mechanical processes that may be done e.g. scarification or hollow tine aeration. The fertiliser will be low on nitrogen and high on Potassium for a good Autumn/Winter balance. The extended nutrient release will avoid soft growth and gently feed the roots strengthening them for better protection from disease and increasing drought resistance for next year. It will also control moss by containing its ability to spore and contaminate next year’s grass.

Winter Control
The Winter treatment is an ideal opportunity to get the essential nutrients into the soil while the grass is in an almost dormant state. The fertiliser will be low on nitrogen and high on potassium for a good Winter balance. The extended release will avoid soft growth and gently feed the roots strengthening them for better protection from disease and increasing drought resistance for the coming year. It will also control moss by containing its ability to spore and contaminate the grass so that when we come to Spring we are able to apply our preferred slow release Spring fertiliser rather than deal with the moss that otherwise would be present. The Winter treatment works hand in hand and compliments the Following Spring treatment.
