We will never recommend a treatment that we feel is not necessary which means most importantly that ProGrass are a company you can trust.
Director, lawn technician and customer service.
With over 25 years experience in business and customer service as former Company Director of Grices of Ruddington Tony formed Prograss in 2012. Tony deals with the business and customer service side of things as well as administering the treatments. He holds a PA1 Safe use of Pesticides and a PA6 Safe use of hand-held applicators qualifications. Tony’s interests include golf, reading and for his sins is a Nottingham Forest supporter for who he has a season ticket.
The key difference between ProGrass and their competitors is the Prograss are overlooked by Joe Kinder who is the Technical manager at Agrovista Uk Ltd (Sherrif Amenity). Joe’s qualifications include a BSC (Hons) in Applied Environmental Science and a BTSC Diploma in Amenity Horticulture. Joe’s interests include flying (holds CAA private pilots license), running and football
Director and Company Secretary
Rachael is the wife and business partner of Tony and is responsible for all the admin and organisation of Prograss. She also helps out in the field when needed especially on the big jobs when all hands are needed on deck. Rachael has a BSC (Hons) in Animal Biology and her interests include photography, reading and swimming in her swim spa
Rachael and Tony's nephew Shaun is a fully qualified lawn operator and he holds a PA1 and PA6 qualification in spraying and pesticides and passed his City and guilds
Lawn Technician work place diploma level 2 sports/groundsman qualification in 2015. Shaun enjoys playing golf and is also a keen Nottingham Forest supporter. His other interests include Gym classes and keeping fit. Shaun is a dad to his son Jack Stanley.
Oliver is a qualified lawn technician who also holds both a PA1 and PA6 qualification in spraying and pesticides. He is a keen sportsman who enjoys playing ice hockey and football and is a keen Arsenal supporter. Oliver previously worked in administration but fancied a career change working outdoors and jumped at the opportunity when a position became available at Prograss. Oliver is happily married to his wife Francesca and lives in Gedling they have 2 young sons Harrison and Toby
Sarah joined the team in September 2019, she works during term times only. Sarah joins us from a career in Education and Family Liaison which is where Rachael and Sarah first met and worked for several years together. Flexibility for life/work balance with time to look after her daughter and son is important to Sarah. Her organisational and people skills will ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Jenni, Shaun's wife joined Prograss in March 2022 after a long career in financial services, bringing valuable office experience to her role. Overseeing both health and safety and human resource aspects of the business as well as monitoring the day to day organisation and administration. Jenni enjoys football, catching up with friends and family life looking after her son Jack Stanley.
Nathan joined us in September 2020 following a previous career in electrical motor engineering. He is fully qualified with PA1 & PA6 licences. Nathan lives in Bingham with his wife Tanya and twin girls. He is a keen golfer and enjoys playing with Tony and Shaun at Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club
